That's becuase it technically IS! Dodge made the Charger Daytona and a few years later Plymouth came with their own version called the Superbird. and even tho the Daytona and the Superbird look the same there are some differences between them. Check this .

I know right! The Plymouth super bird was even in Pixarβs Cars as King, the blue paint scheme was based on the real life paint scheme of Richard Pettyβs Superbird

Indeed, what I like the most is that itβs basically a race car but it does have back seats! Like, itβs shape is really cool like a rocket and that insane wing tops it beautifully. Itβs really a car from the late 60βs

Ironically, the McLaren Senna uses the same logic for its own wing; the high-rise wing allows more downforce by catching the air going over the car itself.

Yeah, but the beauty is how they combine functionality with design: the Mclaren Senna's wing looks nothing like that of the superbird and daytona dispite using the same logic like you said. I always look at designs in combination with the performance.Β Β

Indeed! The Mustang also got its name from a fighter plane believe it or not.

Lol, me thinking that the entire point of the name mustang is to fully associate it with a horse, turns out it got its name from a plane

Probably, probably not. (The Dodge Charger Daytona and the Plymouth Road Runner Superbird both have identical bodies; the most noticeable difference is their tail lights.)

Just for future reference, her tail feathers are usually a few inches above the ground.Β Because roadrunner genes.Β X3
Don't worry, her tail feathers are fine as they are in this pic---kinda hard to sit in a car with big tail feathers, am I right? XDD
