traditional paintings portrait or landscapes or digital landscapes or abstract"mine would look like someone shat on paper " pencil art and there are so many....""but of course you should do what you like(love)"" i only mean this as to strengthening your art...this is what im busy doing atm with my digital art and doing comic book art too" guess doing comic book style panels with backgrounds is also something that can improve your skill. Not that you need to improve, But as artists we always have more room for it and seeing artists like you is what fuels other artists i think"to be the best they can"

I am working on landscape and matte painting but they're still not good enough so I didn't upload them on my website
also, if I have more free time, I plan to do a CG comic, too.

Above all the pieces I viewed on this sight, this one has me most captured. Her eyes drawn to a thought and down from the viewer, ears crooked in confusion, almost to tears over the trauma from an emotional experience none of us will know, but to her, echoes sadness, loss and pain. It's a bit haunting, as it should be. Emotion spawned from paint through a passionate hand creating a soul for us to see. Well done, well done.

It's real her.  She was reported this video by herself. I'm the one who sent this video to her.
And please note that I'm not the only one who sent it to her.


You and HDSoundi don't seem to understand the real meaning of "COPYRIGHT".
Why I'm saying he's wrong? It's not just like you took someone's picture, doing anything you want to make money from that artwork, just put a credit and say "What did I do wrong? I credited her already".

The keyword is "DOING WITHOUT PERMISSION" and "USE IT COMMERCIAL".
So, It's mean nothing even the credit's on the video. ._.

Don't you know HDSoundi's always doing it wrong for all time.
1. Posting videos that edited from artists's work WITHOUT PERMISSION
2. Then he make it COMMERCIAL by put an advertising on his videos >> pasteboard.co/aC9kRPKgt.jpg
The different IS just... another artist's who know this might not care, but she DO care. ._.

So, It doesn't matter if that's the real her or not, right??
The right way to do this is like....
1. HDSoundi ask a permission from Redpear to use her artwork for making a commercial videos.
2. If she says "Yes". HDSoundi can use her artwork on the commercial video without copyright problem.
3. If she says "No". HDSoundi better not use this artwork.
But the real situation is HDSoundi didn't ask her at all before use this.

OR  4. He use this picture without permission BUT for making non-commercial video.  That's why I'm saying he's wrong.

Another important thing, He edited her artwork just like the picture's belongs to him already.
Made over an animation, DELETED watermark , these two things is surely require an agreement from her.
This is not require knowledge about law at all. It's an common sense good people have. 
Not every picture on internet is made to use for free. Except some source such as NASA's photos. (They made it for an education, so people can edited in anyway.) You have to keep in mind that every picture on internet have an owner.   And realize what's the REAL purpose of that owner to spread the picture on internet. Redpear surely made art because her own benefit.
 
As I mentioned all above, Do you still think only credit is enough to solve everything?
Think of it if he did right, Why Youtube can completely let her banned the video.

- You don't know him personally, but you said "He just got a straight copyright strike from Redpear without any email asking him to change it or remove of his own accord".  According to this sentence, you seem to know this situation so well. If you don't know him personally, How can you know that the video got banned without any email? lol

- Have another people on Youtube EVER cared about the banned videos?  Except that video's belongs to them. Especially the commercial Youtube video.  If you listen to the music on that video and you like it so much, all you have to do is just find another video with the same song's title right?  Why so care if you're just a person who don't know things and can't do anything. This is so simple.

- You said "it just doesnt seem right to slap a copyright claim on it straight away". 
Go back and read my previous comment thoroughly.  Why Youtube has report button? It's to claim on it straight way, isn't it?

1. Since this is HER ART and it's on THAT video. She ABSOLUTELY has the RIGHT to do anything even without any notice, okay?   Why she MUST sent and email although HDSoundi's DIDN'T. This's not make any sense.  If you still wonder you can contact Youtube and ask "Do Redpear have the right to do this without a notice?"

2. She DID kind enough to send a message to him already. And she sent me a capturing of a message HDSoundi replied. You'll see that he replied himself using the name Mark M. pasteboard.co/aTIBtrel1.jpg  >> pasteboard.co/aTs9hDOE3.jpg  
She told him that's because he deleted watermark and edited her artwork into an animation. But he disown the problem and rejected any responsible.
She can't stand leaving her artwork in this way. That makes she feels so bad.  So she decided to report the video.

Again, If you haven't gotten any advantage from HDSoundi and Youtube. Why you wasting so much time discussing the topic that's not about you at all. You'll get nothing, right?

I suggest you better rest the conversation and go doing another things that makes life better.

No one here's thinking the way you think. Do you forget this is world's art community?
Deviantart's originally provide an artist "showcase" for finding the job. Not for distribute free materials at all.
So I affirm that what you're doing truly means NOTHING.

If HDSoundi still don't realize what he doing's wrong. His Youtube account will got banned in some day. ._.
Not by me or Redpear. But may from another artist out there. And no way you could help him. 
You do this you can't change the law, can't change Youtube privacy, can't change any rules at all.
The rest you can change is only change yourself. Protest against the law alone is sounds a bit dumb. 

Only choice is accept the rules. Once you accept and follow the rules. You don't have to worried about the same problem again. 
And you won't have anything pissed you off. If have, just use the law. Because this time the law's the same side with you now.
So you can use the law protect yourself like Redpear used. Not like running around saying you're right even if you're actually wrong and got nothing. ._.  Isn't that sounds make sense?

She did notice him to takedown the video and tell him on what acts that  he infringe her copyright but all she got is just a reminding of his obligation that she got more views because of his infringing clip.
Shit that If it's me who was infringed i would go straight and strike it with out a notice first. Think on the artist point of view, he used and altered her work without any email or asking for a permission first so why would I or her need to tell him to take his clip down. And about the copyright system of youtube, I think it's deserve for the careless user like him.

by the way, deleting the artist's watermark and put his watermark instead is the act that any artists can't tolerate. that's all
