heh heh the first giveaway is finished!
Actually, I finished this piece a week ago but I was so busy with Qingming festival (kind of tomb sweeping/ancestor worship festival. It's a chinese festival) and didn't have time to upload it.
Hey, Omocha, I hope you like her in this pic. This scene is the moment when she is standing at the river between life and death leading the spirits to the after life's gate. I also wanted to draw a couple pic for her, too, but at last I ended up with this scene because I want to depict her duty.
This character belongs to
Shi Suan is a spider lily spirit who live at a shrine in between a spider lily field by the river between life and death.
Her job is to greet and guide the spirits to the after life's gate.

Hi again......well i must say this picture has a lot of nice details like the stars and that pattern on her dress.the flowers in the front with the mountains in the distance to draw depth to the picture and the water that fades of into a blur. Overall very nice detail. now to the things i would say are off. the light feels like it is all over the place like there is one main light source but it is falling on her and the water behind her. judging from the light falling on her there should be some light on the water in the foreground of the picture, but the water seems really dark. I dunno, i'm no expert on water reflections and lighting but something seems a bit off. I would recommend you wait for other people's critique before you change anything for the good of this artwork. BUT beyond all of those"Errors" "i see" this is a great artwork. Great job. "And remember your opinion counts most." Hope i was of help

Actually, I feel many things off in this pic but I couldn't figure out what and why, so, I let it go. lol
About the light on the water in the foreground, when I tried adding it, I felt it distract the eyes from the focal point and it mess with the flowers, so, I took it off. I forgot to think that it will make the pic look off and unnatural. T_T
PS. I will wait for your critiques in my next piece! I love to read them. XD
