It probably would've been good if she had moved into the Penthouse after the whole fiasco at the Christmas party.

The problem with living in a crappy little garage in a bad area of town, is that when people you've pissed off come looking for you there's no alarm, no laser grid, no booby traps - nothing to really help you…especially after you’ve just stabbed a guy with the one fork you own.

"It's not like I'm defenseless." Thought Kate, but alone - against three whole truckloads of Tracksuit Mafia bros? Not a chance.

In Rockefeller square she and Clint had a terrain advantage, some help, and a few dozen trick arrows.

Advantages she didn't have right now as they dragged her from her bed. No terrain, no arrows, no Lucky (temporarily staying at Clint's farm) - she didn't even have Clint to back her up.

To her credit, she counted at least 3 broken noses and 2 - maybe 3 broken jaws. Before they managed to subdue and tie her up.

Things got serious once they got her back to their home base. Bound and hung from the ceiling in chains she was helpless to stop them as they sliced her clothes off - leaving her shivering in the cool damp air of the Warehouse.

"You are going to tell us where is Barton." snarled the leader in a thick Russian accent.

No way was Kate going to tell them where Clint's farm was… not that she could anyways because the idiots hadn't bothered to remove the large ballgag stuffed in her mouth. She wondered if they had chosen the color purple on purpose…

"But first…" two other bros brought over a stand that held a large battery and equipment.

Kate didn't like where this day was headed. They connected some cables to the equipment and approached her…

"...we have some FUN, a small back-pay for Christmas..." He chuckled evilly.

Kate struggled uselessly in the chains as he approached tapping the cables together, throwing small sparks of electricity.

"...maybe we jump start those soft tits, eh?"

From outside, there was suddenly a scream followed by two thuds. No doubt from the two sentries stationed there.

Kate tried to swing around to see what was happening, but her bondage prevented a good view.

The closest Bro drew his gun, turned and ran to the door, only to drop as soon he stepped through with another thud.

"What?!?" yelled the leader…

"Kate Bishop!" came a cheery female Russian voice.

Kate eyes widened, YELENA?!?

The Bros froze as the Leather Clad woman casually stepped over the downed man.

"I'm back in New York again!"

"Please tell me you're not here to kill Clint again… or me, for that matter." Thought Kate.

"Iam between jobs at the moment, and I thought maybe my good friend Kate Bishop would take me to see the sights I didn't get to see at Christmas." called Yelena as she nonchalantly strolled into the warehouse.

The Bros looked stunned.

"Bozhe moi" whispered the leader "that is a Black Widow assassin." recognizing her uniform.

A Bro carrying a baseball ball took a step forward and suddenly found himself on the business end of Yelena's Widows Bite.

He dropped the bat without even being asked.

Another went for his gun only to be stopped by the Bro next to him… "Put that away you fool," he hissed "she could kill us all before we could blink."

Yelena strolled up next to Kate, seemingly oblivious to Kate's situation at that moment.

"I hope you are not still angry about me trying to kill Barton. It was very much misunderstanding and I…"

Yelena stopped mid-sentence, seemingly only aware of Kate's situation for the first time.

"What is going on?" She looked to Kate who was gagged and unable to provide any answers. Then to the leader of Bros who still held the two sparking wires in his hands but seemed paralyzed with fear.

Kate gurgled and struggled, but otherwise no answer seemed forthcoming.

After a long moment, a bright smile spread across Yelena's face as she turned to Kate.

"I see what you are doing, this is good." She said

Kate could only hang there in her confusion.

"You are conducting interrogation, yes? They teach widows this technique when we are trained." she explained.

"You do the being captured and tied-up things while bad guys tell you about all their evil plannings. Then you break free and kick all their asses."

The Bros all stared at Yelena, then at Kate.

"This is good way of doing interrogation… my sister Natasha did it this way. Between you and me I think she kind of enjoyed it." Yelena explained.

"I apologize for interrupting you, Kate Bishop. I leave you to finish up. Cab driver at Airport told me about great Macaroni place over on 22nd Street - you meet me there when you are finished - yes? Yes." Yelena turned to leave.

Kate's eyes were wide with panic. She struggled and thrashed in her bondage.

"Wow, you do that helpless act better than Natasha,"

Yelena left.

Time for more super-heroic hijinks, this week featuring Hawkeye (Kate Bishop) from the D+ Series!

Yelena's misreading of the situation inadvertently leaves Kate in a dire situation with some "Bros" wanting payback for the events of the TV series...

This was one of those concepts I was internally laughing about the entire time I made it.

And yes, while writing it I spoke all of Yelena's dialogue in a fake-Russian accent.
