Fusion in my world isn't exclusive to one group of people or a specific type of magic, anyone can fuse. Fusion is based on a strong trust in another person, the stronger the trust, the more stable the fusion. This can also be confused with the ability to fuse, people think that if I trust this person I can fuse with them. This statement is incorrect. The level of trust only amounts to the stability of the fusion, just because you trust someone doesn't mean you can fuse with them.

There are many different ways to fuse; the first is fusion through love, the second is fusion through family, and the third is fusing to meet a common goal. There are many others, but these are the three I will focus on.

Fusion through love: An example of this would be Skytew, a fusion of Skyler and Matthew. This is one of the weakest fusions only just before Alxée (Fusion of Alexander and Renée). Unlike them Skythew is able to be one person, but if they take any physical damage they fall apart. This has nothing to do with the trust between them and is mostly because of reasons out of their control. Fusions of love tend to be weaker than others, but the strongest one so far is Starler, the fusion between Star and Tyler. There love and trust for each other is so strong that they are the strongest love fusion.

Fusion through family: Two examples of this would be, Gold-Sun or Theoly. Gold-Sun is a fusion between Gold and Sunset, brother and sister. Where as Theoly is a fusion between Theodore and Melody who are cousins. Both of these fusions are stable because of the trust that each of them have for the other.

Fusion through a common goal: An example of this would be, Alston, a fusion between Alexander and Ashton. These two can be an unpredictable and unstable fusion. Alex' fun loving and excitable nature actively combats Ashton's loner personality, but when Camran and Renée are in danger the two can actually be one of the strongest fusions, only second to Camée herself.
