I remember John Bryne's run on She-Hulk. He really reinvented her as a character. He made her fun, sexy, feminine, and strong. Its sad to say that current She-Hulk in the MC universe is anything but. Good thing I can always make my more version of her.Related content

It's a testament to Byrne's run that many people still consider much of what he did to be the closest thing there is to an archetypal She-Hulk.
Her current status quo... rather like her last (grey) change to status quo, I've no problem with it on paper but the illustration is just awful.
But then again, this run of the Avengers is pretty awful, so it's kind of unfair to suggest Jen is being treated worse than anyone else.
The worst part is - beyond Jen just not being bothered at all by any of this - they make a big deal out of giving her this super-mega-ultra-Hulk power-up... and then she's just mostly in the background doing the square root of bugger all, making it all totally pointless.

Thanks. It just irks me that they throw something at a character like this and then do NOTHING with it. She's not even angry or worried that she's all of a sudden just "HULK SMASH!" but I suppose when this Avengers title crashes and burns, it'll all be forgotten and your regularly scheduled She-Hulk will be resumed.
