This seems to be a very popular theme I've seen in 3DX comics. A beautiful young explorer searching for an item finds a well hung monster/creature/beast guarding it. In order to get the item she wants, she reluctantly has sex (and then enjoys the encounter afterwards) with the creature. You see it all the time. I have to admit that I've fallen into this troupe myself. So I thought what if you changed the point of view of the narrative? What if the story is told through the creature/beast's point of view instead? Maybe he get tired of having beautiful horny women always coming in and robbing from me? Just a thought.

I'd say it's a great idea
That very type of idea got 3 short stories published for my brother.
Was in a shared universe anthology series where the Paladin
types are battling the Demon types for control of the the
multi-verse, blah,blah,blah... all the usual tropes.
He wrote a short from a Demon POV, and they freakin' loved it.
(Even though I'm a little biased, 'cause it's my bro; he really did nail it)
So they asked him for 2 more... then he was on a deadline! Eeek!
He was stressed, I was amused... (he got me back, I had to pay for
my E-Book copies... sheesh, how rude... lol)
Didn't really make much money on the deal; but they did do a
limited run HardCover, so he has 3 books on his shelf with
his stuff in it. Which is pretty cool, I think.
So yea, taking an established theme and turning it around can
work out pretty well. And that theme in the 3DX comix is just a
Pron variation on the 'Beauty and the Beast" theme anyway.
So why not take it for another twist around the track?

lol... Well, sounds like you read the first story
in Volume 3, which is a good one if memory serves
correctly (Been awhile since I've read any of the stuff).
It should be, as it was co written by two actual
semi-established authors. Actually, most of the writing in
the Anthologies is pretty damn good. Paul Genesse, the
main editor, and guy who thought the whole crazy thing
up is pretty good at getting talent. Known and unknown.
Actually, my bro's story is the second one down;
"The Ronin's Mark" by Don Darling. I double checked and
it's complete with no missing pages.
As far as I know, other than the cover art, no illustration
work has been done for any of the anthology. It's pretty
obscure outside of fans of the Fantasy/Horror genre.
(ironically, not my bro's usual genre for writing)
I have no idea the status of all the copyright factors,
other than all the contributing authors regain full rights
to their stories and characters after I think 3 years. I
know this because my bro had a fourth story planned
to tie his little mini-saga together, and then they decided
to wrap it up with volume 5. So he has been waiting for
that to all come together, and do a basic online self publish
novella just for a sense of completion. Would probably advert
it off the several Crimson Pact websites. Won't make a
dime doing it, but that's not really the point.
As far as "fanart" goes, I think anybody could throw stuff
online, and nobody would care. Something like a full graphic
novel of any of the various authors material would probably
get a little more complicated, due to the copyright factors.
