My understanding is that it got a designation number but it was never produced much or used by anyone. Not very significant but just something for completion, and an exercise in guessing details since pictures of it are few and far between.
I don't know if I want to do more super rare prototypes that no one ever used, since the more obscure it is - the harder it is to find reference images, and there is more guesswork in the detailing, with a result that is still rather vague and weak when it comes to fine detail.

I understand what you mean, there seem to be quite a few experimental weapons out there that were produced in very few numbers, or produced with only one or two prototypes, and therefore make it hard to good reference pictures and detailed information on.

For that, I really commend you for putting all your effort into these particular renders. Although it may lack some of the finer details as you pointed out, you gave it your best shot considering what little reference you had to work with.

Thanks! It does get myself thinking, like why did I make it with a more complex flip up rear sight, and hooded front sight, when both the M1 and M3 both used a simple fixed stamped rear, and exposed front blade. In retrospect there is a lot more tweaking and thought I could've put into the design details.
