Description
I managed to mimic a pencil with the brush tool on MangaStudio, so now ya can see what my realistic drawing look like ^_____^I'd really like some feedback on this, as i've never submitted anything like this before ^^
But in case you're wondering, this is only a cub, so the eyes and ears are a bit oversized XD

The program I use for all my digital art is called 'Manga Studio Debut 5'. You can get it online, and in some computer stores.

Nice work with the fur! I love how the eyes look too Although I agree with one comment, that you should try drawing the highlights only instead of every single strand of fur--I think it'll still come out okay

The pencil effect is great and I think for trynig something that is not your usual style this is quite good.
I'm not an offical corrector - or an exeptional pencil artists - but there are a few things I'd like to point out if that is ok?

Holy crap I thought this was actually pencil. That is a pretty good imitation.
I can't offer much in terms of advice. KeoJinx and ladyshawn have pretty much said everything that I would have

Aww, thanks
I'm glad I managed to pull off the pencil effect- it took a lot of tweaking of my brush tool XD I know I still have a long way to go though, before I can actually draw photorealistic animals... this picture is still to cartoon-affected (the human-like expression, anime-ish eyes etc). But i'm working on it ^____^

This took a lot of work. All those strokes!! Very sweet & soft. I thought it was pencil too. I myself have worked on hair with animals. It's a challenge. They are ALL hair! I learned one thing that may be of use to you, ou don't have to draw each hair, just the highlights. I think this is such a sweet picture. Keep it up. Your headed in the right direction

Thank you ^^ I'll try that- just using highlights ^^ I worked from a few photos with this, and I actually gave up halfway though thinking 'it'll never look like a real fox' I guess I still have a way to go, but I hope someday I'll be able to be proud of my art ^^

Oh always be proud of your art! I may not like some of my stuff, but I'm always proud I can create something from a blank piece of paper. Art is subjective. There are always critics. Art should make you feel something - good, bad, happy sad...blah blah. You put that on paper for a reason

Actually when I saw the thumbnail I thought this was a pencil drawing! XD Great job on mimicking it! It does look like a fox. Your perspective looks very nice and fine, but practice wouldn't hurt either ^^ About the strokes, one piece of advice i can give you is draw-or imagine a line down the middle of the face. not symmetrically, but anatomically, if you understand what i mean. start your strokes from there and work outward in small, brisk movements, so that the fur would contour to the face of the fox (or any animal you may draw in the future) and not clash or look unorganized~
The pressure looks uneven, so what I can suggest is that just do one uniform shade first (the lightest first) and then gradually layer in the darker shades. although maybe that last bit was kinda obvious anyway, you can add more depth to the picture by making the insides of the ears darker, and add some slight shading to the white fur as well~
I hope this helps! apologies if any of those were already obvious ; still, It's a really cute little fella~
