They were still fairly young(Mufasa looked like he just matured into a full grown lion while Zazu seemed to still be a kid, at least in bird years), and the Hyenas(Bonzai, Shenzi and Ed; also fairly young)were about to eat the poor hornbill. Luckily, Mufasa saved Zazu and they've been good pals ever since--Zazu even became the King's Majordomo when they saved Sarabi from being stuck in a ditch!(They found a dead old tree and used it so she could climb out)I red(read)it all in a Disney's Lion King book titled Friends in NeedOh yeah, I think that all might explain how Mufasa and Sarabi met and got married and had Simba, tooLOL The more you know!
