Description
My first attempt of making 3D art with Photoshop 3D tools. I started learning it today, so don't be harsh on me, still have a lot to learn.Mi primer ejercicio con las herramientas 3D de Photoshop. Apenas hoy aprendi a hacer esto por primera vez asi que no sean tan severos conmigo jaja.

for a first attempt i think this is really cool. It looks like something in the garden in "Alice in Wonderland"
Don't worry i think your on a really good start, i don't think I'd do so well with Photoshop first time out

Ah, this looks great! I love the designs on these critters. Is there a tutorial you are using? I would like to get into using the Photoshop 3D tools but I feel like I don't know how to start.

Mhhh not much, but I think a good start is to download a free .obj file that isn't too complex or with a lot of polygons (you'll have to look for many and try them till you find the ones that don't make your PS too slow). Once you have a 3D object in PS try the tools it's not that hard.
However a time will come in which you'll feel too limited by PS, and that it's not that great handling 3D objects and will be curious to try C4D. C4D isn't as easy as I was told in the begining but a lot more understandable than XSI or Maya (at least for me). So I really hope my suggestions are helpful and see what you do with the 3D tools

Thank you for giving me so much advice!
I'll have to squeeze in some time to play around with the Photoshop tools and it's good to know where to start.
Ahaha, one of the art directors for the show "Lost" and I talked for a long time about C4D. She told me that it's very important it know and use. Up until now I've played around with 3D Studio Max.

Thanks a lot! I've been improving a bit! 3D can be so strange to me that have been in 2D for the longest time!
