As far as alien designs go, though humanoid, it's rather interesting. It almost reminds me of the speculative fiction designs of Moebius .

So the Race it Self is an Alien Race to Afraid of death So they have over time Designed them self's in different ways for different reasons So they went the route of being HalfΒ Organic half machine in order to survive and live a much longer life span , and since the race it self is alot of independent individuals not one of them are the same or come up with the same ideaΒ Β
