Description
My Hidden Dream...--
I have been waiting for it snow forever, ok well only 2 years since I have been here. But I mean I have only ever seen it once before and that is when I was young. Never really got to play in it either. And today when it did snow, I think I have had the most fun I have ever had up here at school...which sadly is not saying much.
As for the concept I kind of feel a need to explain it for a change. It is kind of meant to represent all the dreams we have that we usually keep hidden away. Either because there is no opportunity for it, or for fear of acting on it. So in this case I finally got to go play in snow, kind of like a child hood dream, hah I kind of felt like a kid running around last night. Also it not only represents the snow, but it a lot of other things I dream of, but have a fear of going for them.
I am really surprised the pic came out this good. This was taken right when the sun was rising, so light was low and I did not have a tripod. My hands were so cold I could barely hold the camera, and my feet where long gone...but none of that mattered because I got my dream.

we should all be so lucky to capture our dream and a unique photo like this
speaking of which, capturing what my dreams are like would kind of be a metaphor for getting off my ass and making it happen because theyre so abstract looking... i would have to set up for it. thanks! this is probably the first deviation that has ever given me insight to my own life

i like the softness to it..
it really does have a dreamy state to it... i've never seen flowers (and colourful for that matter) growing in a rather dead environment.. the snow mixed with the flowers really creates a strange composition, like death and life..

Actually the snow just fell like 4 hours before I took that picture. But You are right though, if you take it out of context. There does seem to be quite a contrast in subjects, with the bright flowers, and the snow whihc usually kills life. Thanks

Wooow....wicked! This is a random deviation, I wasn't expecting something as beautiful as this!
The moment captured here is unique, I bet those flowers have long wilted right now...but it's a great photo!
Mind if I add it to favourites?
I'm going to take a look @ your gallery, I've seen lots of nice things

Should've named it "dreams come true", although that would've been extremely cheesy, and I don't know if you're the cheesy type or not.
Your concept is pimp, and that's all I can really say. I do like the fact that you see it as more of your dreams emerging though, not just one. You're the only one that can maked them come true.
This really is quite beautifully. I'm glad you finally got to see the snow

Beautiful shot. Very dream-like. And I love the little bright
yellow flowers still showing below the snow. That doesen't
happen here. For six months the whole land covers in icy
sheet. Turning the forest into an gallery of frozen trees. That's
why I'm not taking too much photos in those six months.
Because everything looks the same verywhere
But great work with the photo! And I'm glad you saw snow too

Thanks. Ya I did not expect this shot to turn out good at all. But some how it did. Ya I guess you are kind of limited by what you can do with frozen trees, unless you go out into the mountains or something. Not sure if I could deal with the cold though hah.
