I love the sky! Looks very soft and compelling. Great!
The lights and the colours are very yummy too. Although the
border seems too big :\
But great photo! \o/

Heh thanks. Want to know a secret? That sky is totally fake made in PS...used to be pure white. Ya I guess the border might be kind fo big, I have been addicted to huge borders lately though for some odd reason.

Very interesting perspective. I agree with *zerocomplex , there is so much more added to this piece with a description such as yours. What really caught my attention were the two rails in the foreground - I love how they slice through the frame, their positioning is excellent.

Lovely piece, so much texture and life added with what you wrote, a very enduring capture, and the solumn tones, the decay. Excellent capture.

I love railways shots.. i think that there are always very expressive. This one proves it one more time. The sepia tones and the composition gives really come to reinforce the words, that fits very well with the picture. Great work.

excellent picture
the railways do have a strong meaning, i mean it symbolizes paths of the life, and the cropping is great, seeing the first railway empty, and a train on the second...
well you did capture a beautiful scene...and you put a strong meaning with it
the colors are excellent to support the sadness...
great work !

Thanks
I actually took this pic a long time ago. Never really thought it was a good one at first, mainly because the sky sucked. But I have gotten better at PS, and well making skys . The sky in this piece is completly fake, used to be pure white. Just did not say anything because I wanted to see if anyone would notice.
What is a 20-30s trainshot though?
