wow
maybe you should do a montage or HDR of this piece with the one you have of the Big Pit and have it showing in the background

hdr is quite seen a lot during the last years. but done in a very subtle way, to create a special effect and feel with this photo it is a special way to express as a photographer. when not done only to do hdr - like you do it i like it. when (probably) done by hand i like it even more. so

ok. than *beeingredintheface* but it really is postworked, isn't it? i just thought, because of that white shimmering around the wagon...

Wasn`t too adept at altering self shots back then so I don`t think much was done to this aside from the B&W conversion...the shimmering must have been courtesy of the sun reflecting on the day

You gotta experiment haven`t you.
Some captures are absolutely born to be transfered into Black `n White and all it`s sister sibling colour tones
Thanks pixl.

Pard you nailed this ..
Great atmosphere, detail is not too much
but just enough to give it the "look"
Focus on the bolts at the front of the car
as well as the wheel is great, and the dark
stark contrast gives it the final great touch..
You should win this.. Great shot pard .. Defin
