Very nice. Perfect composition and angle on this, the combination of the lighting in the background and the elongated shadow in the foreground is spectacular. I really like the fact that the image isn't perfectly level, because it adds to that sensation of something not being quite right...plus it emphasizes the shadow, creating the feeling its darkness is weighing down one side of the image. Excellent.

You know I was undesided about the off set the image had. But your description has made it much more clear to me. Is really does add space for the shadow, to darken up that side of the image. It also stands out I think, as most would expect it to be symmetric.

I choose not to be either...I just stay true to myself and whatever I beleive...if thats makes me a feeder or a believer, that is just a consequence, but not the main point.

ohh.. near professional photos...
there are a few small faults in the photo that prevent it from being perfect.
1. generally isn't the sharpest it could be
2. it'd be nicer if it was perfectly centred.
3. the shadow play is perfect and as is the lighting, but those things in the centre and centre left are bugging me,
other than those 3 things... wonderful composition

Ya I suck at perfectly centering stuff off, hard to line it up on my little LCD. Would be easyier if I had a decent viewfinder though. I see what you are talking about in the background, still kind of undicided on them, was thinking about taking them out.

Dunno if it is really a switch have always wanted to do it, but at least I feel everything along those lines came out sub par. Started messing with levels and curves now, so much happier with the results. Thanks.

Great use of lighting - I love the curve of the shadow coming off of your body, how it wraps itself around the lower half of the frame etc. Nice cool tones and symmetry.
