From what I saw in the magazine other than Alice herself in the sequel "Alice: Madness Returns" are the Card Guards/Soldiers. Most of us know the Card Guards are walking playing cards, unlike we already know, these are like Zombies, the first game's Card Guards aren't Zombified, my guess is they came back from the dead and again as minor enemies of Alice.

I said myself I'll put blood later, and in case if some of you ask "What she's killing?" There are reason for blood on her so I put in the Card Zombies. They're interesting bad guys and as you can see, she already sliced the one with an Ace in half. The title "Slice and Dice", its a type of card shuffling, right? And to must be honest, I made another American McGee's Alice drawing to get attention on me and the upcoming game "Alice: Madness Returns".
And remember, the original artwork belongs to and the demented style to American McGee.
