Description
Allison had been up for three days straight trying to finish this final paper. She had resigned most of her free time to staying in the campus library, working on a few paragraphs at a time before the exhaustion took hold. She was leaning against her laptop, surrounded by reference books and scrap paper, and dozing in and out of conciousness as she typed. She could barely contain her focus on her own work... which is why it made it all the more interesting when she saw a small peach blur of movement on her keyboard.

Her sorority sister Jenny had been searching through random books in the library's back section when she came across an old rotting text and attempted to read from it. Immediately upon opening the book, she felt it get heavier in her hands, and she found herself sinking into the carpet. Within only a few seconds she had been reduced down to a few inches tall, scurrying around on the floors of the library like an insect. She had spent the morning avoiding her fellow student's gigantic footsteps attempting to crush her into nothingness, when she spotted a familiar bag laying on the ground. She knew that if she could make it up to Allison's tabletop, she'd be able to speak to her and get her to help her get back to normal size. However, after a long arduous climb up the table leg, she found herself face to face with a giant who could barely function. Even staring directly at her and waving her arms to get her attention could only do so much as Allison peered down onto her with squinted tired eyes.

"JENNY? WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON MY COMPUTER? AND WHY ARE YOU.... SO SHORT *yawn*?" Allison struggled to keep her eyes open but the call to sleep was too strong and she folded her arms across the laptop's mousepad and leaned down into them. Her glasses skewed awkwardly on her face as she rested her weary head down onto her hands, all the while her shrunken friend was screaming fruitlessly for her to aid in her situation. "Allison! Please! Don't go to sleep, i need your help! I hate being this tiny!" Allison's response was less than comforting as she just smiled with her eyes closed and repeated the phrase "TINY... LITTLE... JENNY..." until she fell deep into REM sleep.

Jenny threw her hands up in frustration and walked over towards her giant sleeping friend. She leaned up against Allison's folded arms and sunk down into a sitting position. All she needed to do was get her attention. She just hoped that when Allison woke up again, she'd be able to understand her situation and give her the help she needed!
