Phiilo - Make You Mine

Ello hello! Been a while since I posted some art! Sorry that I have been less active lately, job really takes most of my attention and energy. Hence I kinda put artsy stuff at hold for a while, or whenever I got plenty time during weekends XD

So yeah, artworks done is mostly filled with unfinished doodles just to keep my hands warmed up and ease the boredom. Though then I decided to do some experimenting in soft shading again. Was kinda cringed with the previous attempt result, but guess I learn to embrace it and give it a try again hahah

So been thinking about drawing something relaxed and chill after all of the office work, following with the uplifting mood from Phiilo soundtracks. Again I featured my dear shark chara for the solo appearance and the ocean vibes, because yes! With the soft shading technique, I attempted to paint water which is still tricky to do for me.

So yeah, I am quite satisfied with the result! Feels like I am slowly getting a hold on soft shading, giving her a better and realistic look! I particularly enjoy the detail I have put here, added with few highlights and shading. Speaking of the background, I'd say the same with the water texture! Took me like dozen of layer and extra attention for the strokes, but it was worth it! The objects in distance is pretty much okay, and I used some different brush for the cloud for better look.

Anyway, that's all that I can say for now. Will be catching up with arts and updates during my absence. But ya, hope you like it!
