Oh, you haven't seen it yet, no spoilers, but I feel that this needs to be said otherwise you might be turned off after episode one and not give this great series the watch it deserves, the cell phone is eventually explained, and Teodora's backstory is heavily foreshadowed to the point where anyone over the age of 12 should be able to piece it together themselves by ep. 4
