Bwahahaha. I'm replacing you, N. Gin! >DNah, I'm kidding. But the similarities between these two are very eerie. I'm pretty sure N. Gin was created first. So I guess Archer's technically the clone. XD
But both of them had something tragic and altering happen to them (N. Gin got a missile stuck in his head, Archer got half his body blown up in an alchemic array and was fitted with weaponry automail), they're both incredibly loyal (N. Gin to Cortex, Archer to Fuhrer Bradley/Pride), and they're both insane. Need I say more?
Aww, N. Gin's jealous that Archer got to keep his hair! XD At least you still have your manhood, Gin!
N. Gin is (C) to Naughty Dog. I don't care who owns him now! NAUGHTY DOG! D<
Archer is (C) to the studio who created the FMA anime. I think it's Studio BONES, but I'm not sure. -__-
