        "I must confess to you- I have lied...Loki is not alright. I told him you were dead. And now, he goes to confront his daughter Hel- to slay her for setting free the beast who killed his one true love."

   After fully processing what Lady Reidall had just said, you bolted down to the stables. Luckily, the stable hand liked to drink and was passed out on the hay-strewn floor, allowing you to sneak a horse and saddle it up. Where to go, though? I mean, how were you exactly to find Hel? And now the sun was slowly melting down the sky, night approaching. You got on the horse, and started galloping into the forest. There must be some sort of entrance Loki used there.
It was now verging on pitch black, and you strained to see where you were going, the soft glowing moon your only light. Was that a tree up ahead? Or a person? You got your answer when you were only a couple of yards away, the dark figure stretching out their hand to stop you from further approaching. You could not see their face, only an ebony robe that hung low over their head.
"Hello! Excuse me for coming so close, I couldn't make out that you were human."
The figure lifted its head, and its face was revealed.
"Yes, I guess I am human."
It was a skeleton, alive and moving, and white as a pearl in the moonlight. You attempted to quickly jerk you and your horse away, but the bones were fast, and before you knew it, the terrible creature had thrown a bewitched veil over you, making everything go dark.

A cool drop of sweat slid down the side of your face. It was unbearably hot, wherever you were. Shifting yourself around and squinting in the dim light, you found your hands were bound by heavy iron chains to a sturdy ring in the floor. You were in the middle of some sort of... great hall? The room was empty, except for a frightening chair made completely out of skulls. It looked as if they were screaming.
"What do you think of my throne room?"
An elegant woman suddenly stood before you, her beauty unsurpassed, though she wore a mask on one side of her face.
"I'm sorry, you must be so confused... I'm Hel, and this is my home."
You had made it. But then, where was Loki?
"Hel, is your father-"
"Here?"
She sighed, running her long pale fingers through your hair affectionately. You tilted your head back to see her crystal blue eye brimming with tears.
"Y-yes. He is. And I'm so sorry. I really am. I wish you hadn't followed him, because now I have to kill you too."
Your eyes widened and you pulled away from her.
"No! You don't have to kill anybody!"
"Oh, but now I must! I have already captured him! If I just let him go now he will kill me! And Fenrir... he'll tear me to shreds! And I must prove myself. My father thought I was weak, unimportant! Soon I will not only be Queen of Hel, But Queen of Asgard as well!"
By now she was on the verge of sobbing, obviously trying to convince herself she was doing the right thing. You gazed up at her, eyes pleading.
"If we are both to die, will you take me to my fiance'?"
You were dragged by skeleton guards down halls of flickering lights, and shoved into a large, damp cell, where you collided into someone.

  "Name?!?"

"Loki!"
