you guys should have expected it by now. Rajin kindly suggested that she was lacking contrast with the background... and you know, i agreed. so, i changed the background. (a few others also mentioned the background lacked something... i'm so lucky to have other people to give this stuff a fresh look. 
) you guys like?(on a side note... i can't draw clouds.) and while a dragon flying in the background did occur to me, i think it would disrupt the focus of the image.

much better! Looks fantastic! And, I think those clouds look very good, so you should be happy with your cloud drawing skill. The way the highlights barely skim off the top of the clouds is a very cozy, almost pure feeling. I think this brings her into the viewer's eye much more vividly than before! Awesome!
