Oh my this is so pretty. Another great monochrome picture by you! Again I love the way you draw Yuyuko ... the flowing and frills in her clothes, the single-tone under-shadows, all is great ... but also the repeating patterns in the background just build a great picture. You know batik? It reminds me of that, and I would SO buy this and wear it forever if it existed in that form.

O__O use pen tool? XD I can't do that to save my life... hah thats why I always paint in SAI, I lose at Photoshop

About the tool It was brush tool. (My pen tool skill was poor actually.)
I just draw one of it and copy > paste! lolz
I usually use PS to paint my work(didn't try SAI yet....)

Oh, I see... if it's copied/pasted then that makes more sense. i was wondering hwo impossible it is to draw that many geometric shapes and make them match
I've never tried using the pen tool. I wanted to practice a little and see if I could do it, but when I saw how it's done, it looks horrible and I think I'd go crazy doing something that tedious.
I need to figure out more about how PS works, I have CS4 and it doesn't make any sense to me after I have used the old ones without too much trouble. It's just easier to do scanning, editing, texts and stuff in PS and do the drawing in SAI.

I think PS is easy to paint CG and add filter but I like SAI pencil+brush line more than PS's

Yes the worst thing when I tried to use CS4, I couldn't get the right line quality at all.
