"Sphinx of Black Quartz, Judge my Vow"

Monster of the Week is a super fun ttrpg, that I like to call a blend of Scooby Doo, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and the Dresden Files. You are monster hunters in a modern world, trying to put down the things that go bump in the night, solve mysteries, and engage in shenanigans.

For a one-shot, I channeled a few previous characters, and came up with darling Kitty here! An archaeology student far more interested in practice than theory, Kitty chose to try and commune with an ancient knowledge spirit to gain understanding of the distant past. Instead, she gained the occasional form of the Sphinx, and a highly curious voice in her head that is more interested in studying recent history than it is explaining long lost secrets.
That curiosity has driven her to occasionally join her cousin in fighting less welcome monsters, a roll she kinda excels at, since being made of stone and somehow able to fly is a fairly busted combination. Also she got a gun from somewhere and she should not have a gun.

Kitty started as a version of Julesha, the sphinx girl from Changeling, but after remembering the panagram, Sphinx of Black Quartz, she ended up a bit more similar to Karen stylistically.
