I had a fangirl moment...oops! Look what happened! ^_^So this is how I imagine the character "Kvothe" from The Name of the Wind and the Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss.
This dude is badass ! Go read the books if you haven't !
So um, just a plastic clicky pencil and sheet of paper for this one.

I'd love to do a more finished piece some time! Perhaps in celebration of the release of The Door of Stone! Ooooh I can't wait! But I guess I HAVE to wait. Grr!

It reminds me of spike when he's being evil. Which isn't how I imagined Kvothe, but it works.

Haha, Spike from Buffy ,right? When I showed my hubby the drawing he said he didn't imagine Kvothe so thin & "sharp" either but I guess that's the thing about a book; everyone imagines the characters a little differently. I always imagined him a bit waifish (but not too much)because of how he grew up.
