So I am SUPER hyped for the new games that have been announced at E3 this year! Hyrule Warriors looks awesome, the new game looks awesome, Super Smash Bros looks awesome, and I need a WiiU.So to channel all my excitement I did a speedpaint of the newest addition to the 'hero incarnated club'.
I've seen a lot of people speculating that we might get our first female protagonist??? Link sure looked pretty feminine in the trailer. We can cross or fingers and pray that please please please let this be the case.

"Actually that comment I made jokingly," he said. "It's not that I said that it wasn't Link. It's that I never said that it was Link. It's not really the same thing, but I can understand how it could be taken that way."

We can cross our fingers and send buckets of fanfiction, fan art, and well written letters to Nintendo. Apparently at least somebody is hearing there's a demand for it. We'll see what the future holds.

After watching the trailer all I kept hearing was Link looks too feminine and now to know that Nintendo said it might not be Link intrigues the hell out of me. It could very well be Zelda and we didn't know it because she doesn't look at all like her usual self.

I think any outcome at this point is gonna be a pretty exciting one, since Nintendo chose for the first look at the game ever to not even have Link in it. I'm just really excited to see how they spin this.
Although they really could be pulling our legs, I suppose. After all, they never said it wasn't Link either. They were awfully ambiguous.

my friend and I Talk this over for like an hour Trying to figure it out. is it Zelda link or what?
I Just had a thought. I don't think to many people would agree with this Theory because of The Art style of the game but just hear me out. What if its Colin? From Twilight. like An Older Colin who now after the events of twilight Idolizes Link. he was alway Smaller and girly But he was Brave. I don't know Iv been going over this from every angle i can Think of. Its Just a thought. and again I say great Job on the drawing.

That's actually a really interesting take! I hadn't thought of that at all. Considering that it could be a smaller character being given more development opens up a lot of new questions. Like if that could be the case, could it maybe be an older Aryll from Wind Waker? There's a similar shirt as to the one we see Link wear in Outset. Or what if it is Colin, since the art style is pretty resemblent of Twilight Princess (albeit a lot happier looking).
I think at the moment we're just gonna have to hold on to our seats and make puppy dog eyes at Nintendo until they give us some morer details.

yes, we discussed the possibility of it being Aryll too. but at this time, it could be anyone. Link, a son, his sister, zelda, someone new, who knows? its pretty much wide open at this point. that video tells us alot and yet so little.we need more info. but you know what? it does look pretty happy and alot of people are upset cause they wanted a darker zelda game, but I the only on who thinks this Game Could actually be dark? its colourful yeah but it looks look the art style and the graphics could handle a darker theme. but again we need more info.

Skyward sword link Fought Robots aswell and as we all know that Takes Place at the First of the time line. so its Possible you are right but he could really fight a robot a any giving time.

Yeah, you even have a little robot buddy that helps you. Its Kind of Wired for Zelda I know but Some Old timey civilizations are advance like that. Like the Zeal of Chrono Trigger.

Uummmm....hook thing? hhhmmm??? oh you must mean the Beetle. no that's a pretty cool item but i mean Scrapper this cute little robot that goes bzzzrt! he helps you find stuff and there's a few other ones in the game as well. Scrapper calls Link and Fi Master and Mistress Like How K-9 use to do in Doctor who. maybe that's a reference?

I don't know about transported to the future, but I do have a feeling that the story will take place later on in the time line. What would be neat would be to see a return of the time travel mechanic though, maybe to travel to different stages of Hyrule? We've really seen it develop throughout the series, and it'd be neat to see.
