Description
When Resident Evil 2 remake was finally revealed back in 2018 E3, not only was excitement going through my veins like all of us, my creative side was finally hit with the realization that I would have to update my original character, Joey Kennedy for this remake. For a long time, I studied my original Joey Kennedy model on the left and see how could I update the attire and keep the color scheme that associates with Joey. (Like his brother, blue is his color.)As the game was nearing and nearing and finally arrived, I finally had come to the idea of how I see Joey in this remake. He is still that young man with brown hair and a boyish charm but has a simple, casual attire that still fits Joey's story and character. Jeans and bright shirt remain the same but instead of Timberland like boots from the original, I wanted something that would make running easier. Sneakers and instead of a denim-like jacket, I wanted him to have a blue jacket still but complete with a hoodie to of course helps him from the rain.
As you can see for the photo above, (duh) RE2 remake Joey Kennedy is complete. I owe it to Capcom and rotten-eyed for the DMC 5 Nero head and Dante hair to complete Joey's head model. Fun fact about that, the model for OG Joey (Once again, major thanks to KitMartin for bringing him to life in the start of this journey.) that the head model was also Nero but from DMC 4. We have come full circle and it is so freaking cool. For the attire, I thank and credit Sticklove for the attire from Spider-Man's Peter Parker. I thank you for being a part of this journey and making my OC come to life as if he was from the RE Engine and of course, I thank Capcom for still kicking ass and making amazing games; especially Resident Evil games.
