Description
This is my pride and joy so far... a work in progress where there will be a dragon fight with a volcanic background. Right now its just the background.... I need to figure out what dragons i want and how to position them. ARGH! Scanners really do no justice to acrylics.... but this scanners so cool, you can pick it up and move it and it scans from the bottom, so even though this is actually like 21 inchs or so you can still scan it in. It just takes a while.Acrylic paints/ no idea how long its been...

I wanna scribble more, nwo that i know the grounds they'll be bickering on ^^ I scribbled on a Hardee's receipt as far as who'd be where, but if you still want sketch ideas I'll see what i can do for ya *bounce* This is such a great start! Acrylics are the only paints I've played with that like me even a little bit. My first try was a snow leopard head. Didn't suck too bad at all. Great fire effects, nice glow. How much attention will you be paying to lighting? I see where it's slightly lighter around the lava. Dramatic, vibrant streaks in some places will bring life out of the rivers and onto the rock, and I think it'd add to the intensity of the main spectacle: those two upset lizards in the sky. But I'm not really one to ask about lighting. * kilara could certainly give you pointers, and *jennadelle if you can get a personal response (she kinda gets a....LOT....of attention..). *smiles* I love how this is turning out. One more thing though, are you going to leave the lines visible between the colors? Mostly in the lava, I mean. Those in the rocks bring texture to it. But lava is fluid, and the contrast between streaks of molten rock should define its flow, not the lines so much...but that's just me. This is your baby and I'll not dissuade you from finishing it =3

oh cool, haha, you already saw it! Actually, I added the lines as a request from my boyfriend. It was pretty funny, I asked him for advice for color for the dragons and he was like no, do highlights first and i asked again and he was like no, outline some places in pen, so i asked again and now hes like no, maked the pen look better and touch up your darks. Argh. But he really is helping it look better in all reality.
As for lighting I might want to take your advice and ask someone for advice, lol. I have no clue how to do it. Haahaha.
I'm familiar with jennadale's stuff. Makes me jealous. Seethingly jealous. haha
