This is gift I made for a very special lady who though I have never had the pleasure of meeting her face to face has been a wonderful friend and has always been supportive and encouraging through the good times and the bad.This bookmark is specially made for [link]

She said she wanted a celtic knot design with jewel tones, so I selected the royal purple and silver. When working out the design though I found i needed something to center the colours and so made the center knot in the saphire blue.
I hope she likes it
I had alot of fun making it. This is done on black aida cloth 14 count

I cannot read on busses or car trips but somehow I can do cross-stitch without getting motion sick so its great for having to commute to campus every day cuz you can just keep it in a purse or schoolbag.
