Description
Literary demons sit eating my brainThey gulp and gorge till their stomachs pain
A noise of which I must complain.
Feeling the strain
These creatures come from places deep
And into your mind they slowly seep
And with their scythes, your thoughts they reap.
No point to weep.
And like a plague, your mind they’ll rot
Stealing every creative thought
A most disturbing devious plot
Which I’ve forgot.
Forgive me but I need time to heal
To let my tired mind congeal
And slowly, surely start to feel.
All so surreal
The reality that is at hand
The load of work seems to expand.
Leaving all that I had planned
Hopeless and damned.
