Description Another sunset picture that I had taken one summer at my cottage. I really like how the clouds were all highlighted pink.

absolutely gorgeous. i almost can't believe the sky is that pink. and it looks even lovelier since the color is reflected in the water and slightly darkened. i like the skyline with the trees. they add a good break between the sky and water and the black color enhances the pink. i hope you see many more beautiful sunsets. and i hope i do too.

sunsets are one of the most beautiful things in nature i think, each one is slightly different and they are always changing. I was really pleased with the result of the photo and the colours in it. Im always afraid that the camera will darken the image due to poor surrounding light levels.

and thank you for the comment

I took it at my cottage which is located on Pine Lake in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada
and yes good sunsets are wonderful to capture and fully worth it.

we had a sunset like that here today . . . though, admittedly, there were no trees in the distance! really a great photo!

nope . . .especially for a druidess!! *sighs* I have to drive over 5 hours to see any genuinely wild stand of trees. the high plains desert only has miles and miles of telephone poles and sagebrush . . . . . not much to look at!

*makes note to always live somewhere with trees* well on the bright side at least you get a great view of the horizon.

yeah, all 360*!! makes for great sky-watching though. moonrises are simply spectacular! and the night sky is infinitely deep . . . . you can literally see stars for miles and miles. makes you feel really tiny and insignificant!! great way to keep humble . . .
