3D Tree covering what appears to be a path. It's strange how the path isn't really noticeable in person or in a single photo, but when seen as a stereoscopic photo it's clear as day.Related content

Dang! Look at those trees just pop outta there! Nice work, and lovely scene. Makes me want to explore that "hidden" path.

Thanks, I was extremely surprised by the final product. The 3D image is actually a lil more appealing than the section of woods in real life haha. It's actually just out in my front yard here, something I see every day but the depth is so intense in the shot.

Absolutely. This shows that 3D/stereo can be used to add useful information about a scene that isn't visible in a 2D image.

I was surprised to find that they use this technique in fields such as geology and geography quite often! It allows them to make accurate estimates at distance, and view the topography without a topo map.
