I am not sure that I managed to keep in mind what I was trying to achieve here, but here it is.I used the liquify tool to map [link] over the top of my grey value sketch to add the color. (this was a really wierd step, that I did to save time, and because I wanted to see what it would look like...
I dont feel that I have achieved a good separation between the foreground and background values. I need to focus on that more.
