Exploded View of one of my Paper Houses
For over a year I have been developing HO-Scale paper house models that can be sold as PDF downloads on the web. Some, like this one, are complicated. It requires about 2 hours to build this model ... even with practice!

I design my models, first, as a sketch in Microsoft Paint because it's easy and quick to "think" when I use that program. I also work out the basic assembly modules while in Paint. Next I go to Adobe Illustrator CS3 where I create the technical drawings with precise measurements and angles. I print and assemble the model as a method of troubleshooting the design. Now, I go into Adobe Photoshop CS3 to add color and decorate the model. My final project is distributed as a PDF created in Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro.

I write and illustrate an instruction sheet for each model. Bill Turner offers my models for sale on his American Paper Buildings Project page. These are available at Poolsiderails.com/APBP [link] ... there are free samples and some great models "For Sale".
