The ink work was not done by me for once! This is actually a coloring page from an online site that has tons of Disney related coloring book pages. Link to the orginal line work is here: www.coloring-book.info/colorin…

The colors you see however, are all from me. I ended up using my set of Caran D Arche Luminance colored pencils for this one! These pricey pencils have been sitting in my room for longest, and while I had used them in the past, I wanted to have a full picture to use for them. So this one did the job.

This was initially done as part of a annual coloring contest done by where artists will take official Disney Coloring book pages and color them in.
It was a different change of pace for me, but it was one I could get used to since I've recently gotten into collecting and drawing in adult coloring books. They really are nice to have on hand when I want color something but can't figure out what to draw.

While I was considering on going digital like a lot of other entries had done, I decided to go down a different path by printing this one out and doing it traditionally. Plus it has been a very long time since I did piece fully in colored pencils.

I actually started on this one about a few days after Christmas. Unfortunately between working on the previous piece I posted earlier last week and real life work related issues eating into my time, I realized until too late I completely missed the deadline for it. I honestly thought I had a few more days. Oh Well, I'll keep this contest on my tab for next year: www.deviantart.com/drzime/jour…

I have to thank for bringing this contest to my attention. I probably wouldn't have thought of doing it if your hadn't suggested it. I'm sorry I wasn't able to get it done in time. But I really did enjoy working on it and hope you like it!
