Oil Pastel- 9x12
I always found these colorful apes really cool. Maybe it's from watching "Lion King" so many times. Either that or the fact that this animinal was the mascot of a funk rock band from the 70s called 'Mandrill'.

I thought I'd try doing another oil pastel piece but on a larger sheet of paper as compared to my regular sketchbook which is at 7x10. Definitely glad I used larger paper for this one.

Figured I'd take a little liberties in how colorful these creatures can be. I feel I could have done a slightly better job on this one, I can't really put my finger on it.
Overall I still like how it turned out.
