Grunkle Stan made a mistake when he asked his brother Ford why he was so excited. Ford usual nerdy demeanor that gave his nephew Dipper a run for his money, was now exhibiting hyperactive vibes of his other one, Mabel. Before he had a chance to get out his special couch, both of his nephew rushed in with their friends Soos and Wendy not far behind.

"Group Pile on!" Mabel chirped.

"No wait!" Grunkle Stan barely had time to protest before he felt the weight on his twin falling into his lap, and the rest of his family squishing him from all sides.

"Kids, I have something amazing to show you all! I wanted to make sure you saw this before the general public lays their eyes on it! It's finally finished. It includes over 10 years of research, writing, and most importantly personal input from all of you"

The 'it" in question was a large book that appeared very similar to his journals.

Dipper peered at the book cover to read it. "The Supernatural Oddities of Gravity Falls written by Pines McGucket."

The author was actually a pen name formed by both Ford and his lab partner Old Man MacGucket.

"You basically complied together all three books documenting all of our horrible adventures we had together?" Wendy asked.
"Oh, good times..." Soos added as he and Wendy held up their pig Waddles to see.

Yes I did, all on hardback. And a brand new epilogue.." Ford replied.
" Let me see!" Dipper said, his eyes beamed with joy as he clambered onto the couch for a closer look.

Grunkle Stan brushed off his minor annoyance and shrugged as he watched his eager brother open up the heavy book. "Alright, just remember a quarter of the profits go to the Mystery Shack"

Ford flipped to the very first page and began to read aloud when he stopped to turn to his brother.
"Actually, why don't you read this prologue, Stan? You did help write it"

Stan, slightly taken aback at hearing that, dutifully took it from him and read aloud. A small smile appeared as he did "Gravity Falls is where this story takes place, but it actually starts with my brother at Glass Shard Beach..."

First time writing a short story involving Gravity Falls, so hopefully I did a good job here. I honestly can not believe it's been 10 years since the show first premiered. It honestly doesn't seem that long ago. While it hasn't been my top favorite show, its been one I've grown love more and more each passing year. But I had been meaning to do a group shot for the lonest time with the main Gravity Falls characters, and I figured now would be a great time!
