Training foals has its silly, goofy moments! It's full on winter at Elk View now, the windows to the arena are frosted over with only a peek of the trees outside coming through. During this training session, Aniko was teaching Juniper that she didn't need to be right on top of her in such a large arena. Of course, Juniper was sniffing out those tasty treats in Aniko's pocket and she didn't quite understand why Aniko was throwing her hands around in the air so wildly. Teaching Juniper to give space might be a hard challenge to overcome, but she's nearly a 2 year old! It'll be a fun journey in her next leg of training.
