it's the best thing ever! I recommend getting one if you have difficulty with your wrist. I for one have tendinitis and find that it is MUCH easier to draw using a tablet than with anything else, it requires a lot less pressure on my wrist:releaf:(\ /)

the trick is to get used to it^_^! once you learn to use it, it becomes second nature no matter the price. I have had really expensive tablets and cheap tablets and find they both work just fine with practice.

I am planning to get one, since an old injury on my writing arm is acting up again.
(When I was really young, I got bit by a dog. And it hurt. Alot. Worse than. A fever I suppose.)

I... -///- ... had a question about a tablet. Really, no one else seems to like talking about them... they just get angry at me... please don't get angry. :sadness: I really just want to know, that, when you say "not touch screen", what you mean is, it's not like a tab computer, right? Because I want a tablet I can use to draw, not use to check my email. You can draw on the surface with the pen stylus thingy right?
And, is there a particular brand you recommend...? Anything good for starters? I want something that works with SAI/PhotoShop/GIMP/Corel-what-E-V-E-R, a pen stylus, and is just... y'know... comfortable.
I'm sorry if I came off as rude. Someone just yelled at me for "thinking tablets are magic or something".

First, sorry for the supper late reply. Second, it's no problem I don't mind questions. Third, I'm not an expert on tablets 
I have a Bamboo tablet (fun size), which was like $50, I've had it for around 5-6 years so they are good to have. I just got a new one "bamboo splash" tablet for X-mas and it works great. I don't know about other brands/tablets but at least for me it is wonderful. I have a bad wrist and the tablet helps a lot because it's ergonomic and requires less movement 
P.S. don't worry, just Google some tablet brands and when in doubt just get a "cheap" tablet and start trying it out. all it takes is practice and then you will not be able to put it down. Good luck!

yes, and if u want a cheap one, it'll only last a few months... but if u want a long lasting one, it'll b around 100-150 canadian dollars....

I haven't had to buy a tablet for 2 years now, I've only used BAMBOO tablets and they have worked very well for me

Um..... I really don't wish to bother you .... but I've got a few questions because I wish to buy the Tablet!
1) how does it work... (ie. do you attach it to your computer and you can download Sai paint tools and Words programs and such)?
2) which one do you think is the best?
and lastly
