This was my entry for the BlenderGuru Steampunk competition. I didn't win, but it was a fun project nevertheless. Everything was created using Blender and Photoshop. Textures are from CG Textures and Pixabay.I'll be posting some breakdown images soon. I'll post a link here when I do.

Rendertime: 8 hours
Project time:Β approx one week

You definitely have to go on with that style! This is (in my opinion) your best picture here on dA!
I also love the picture effects, which made it look like something between a painting and a photo. Well done!

I must say, I really love this style too. I'm working on something now that is probably going to have the same feel to it. Post processing is key!

Looks extremely good! Very good work on the robot and the small details. How did you make the dust? Did you overlay dust textures in the compositor?

Thanks! I added the dust in Photoshop using the Overlay blend mode and some masks. Β
