Description
Rei: Another splash page for Ep 3 of My Cat Complex, my original story. I tried to go for a stylized inky look, but I'm not sure how well that turned out. I feel like my splash pages and some of my comic panels comes across as creepy, although the story is a comedic one...
I guess creepy fits Coraline tho.

Oh haha, to be honest I thought this was some sort of Creepypasta thing when I first saw it. I thought "okay that's... different." XD Now that I've got a closer look I can see it's supposed to be an old photograph. Quite interesting that the charms help you see cats. I wonder what it's supposed to mean.

R: I've heard about creepypasta for a while, but I don't actually know what it is. The charms are actually empty name tags, thus the quote; to humans, we label and recognize cats by name, while cats know each other without that sort of identification. ^^

Basically if you want the most hackneyed and cliched horror stories ever, go to creepypasta (I don't recommend it. It's just a colossal waste of time) I used to listen to it and I swear I predicted the entire story from the start.
Ah, I see now. So cats recognize their owners without a name too, then? That makes much more sense now.

Rei: The quote is from a story with a slight horror appeal, so I guess the feel fits, haha. Actually, in the original story, the main character is given a charm that allows her to see things that aren't visible to the naked eye...
I was thinking cats can recognize other cats, but yes, they probably have their own system for recognizing humans as well. xD
