R: Hey! I think it's been going pretty well. I had a bit of trouble preparing the paper at first, but now that I'm actually painting, I think the colors are getting together. I drew the sun behind the objects, so that the image is actually quite dark in the shadows... And I also believe I made the character look old enough. ^^ You can't really see details of his muscle structure with that small of a picture, but he does look like someone in his late teens. I don't think you mentioned anything about shoes or the color of his sword, so I gave him black sandals and figured I would go with a black sword color scheme. (Sword isn't decided yet, so if you want to give any suggestions, then now's the time to do so! )

I think I should be done with this painting about the end of this week or the beginning of the next. (no promises tho) ;D

Cool! The Sword's colour scheme will be the same as the gates and his clothes, so yeah, lots of black. And the sandals are good! Roman style, right?

As for thw sword, it's really giant like Riven's sword from League of Legends, but it's rather short for its width. encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/ima… about two thirds of that I'd say.

R: Yeah! I wasn't sure about the shoes, so you don't really see much of his feet, but you can tell they're sandals. A little tweaking will give a roman style. 

I think I got what you mean by the sword, although I admit that was always a little bit confusing. I also drew it rather small, in comparison to the character, since I wasn't sure what you meant. I'll try to tweak that as well. ^^

Oh! No the Sword's big! It's more than part of him, it's an entire character of its own! So keep that in mind when making its size.

R: Yeah I guess it doesn't make sense to bring a tiny sword to a boss fight, but at this stage in a traditional work, it's almost impossible to make large changes... but I'll see what I can do. ^^

I thought I made it pretty clear that his sword's really wide and also a bit shorter. :L I don't really have much of an image of it except that it's a bit like Riven's sword though, so you can excercise a lot of creative freedom with it! As long as it's the right general shape and colour pallette, I don't have any other expectations, so go nuts!

R: Yeah, it's my bad really. ; I'm not familiar with League of Legends so I didn't know that the sword would be that big (compared to the character). I'm sure I can do something that will make it turn out alright! Hope I don't disappoint!
