Hiya! ^^ Long time no chat! I needed a while away from deviantart and I found this cool anime cosplay-ish site gaiaonline.com.
Your doujin is coming along great! I hope you don't still have elbo/wrist problems, but its the cost of doing something fun like drawing a manga right? i read up from where i left off. I'll be patient, but i look forward to the day roy uses his fire alchemy!

awww! *hug* i'm fine thx! I'm gonna start my dev site from scratch again. Roy inspired me to make some 'fire' art (literally, all i need is some matches *looks around*) and other stuff.
Next year i'll hopefully will be taking a visual design class and i'll be doing more art stuff! (o0o0oh i have more stuff to tell you but i'll write you a note when i have more time! >.<

*shrugs* i suppose it might be but then i think it might also be good when you make you own style of artwork rather then copy a style in a class. what i want to work on most of all is the basic shapes that make up pictures (like the sphere is connected to the cylinder and then theres a coupl triangles everywhere

haha, yeah I agree, but I started by imitating other styles, poseses etc. so I could have a base to say "yeah, I already know how does this go and how the body bents". Then, I started to try and draw my own style. I actually don't use the cillinders, they just mess my mind even more, lol. I first draw a circle for the head, and then I sketch how will the body be on the rest of the image, just shaping the contour, and then, I add the details. Anyways, that depends on oneself.
