Whoooo is it hot in here or is it just me?Sorry this started out as a normal anatomy practice and turned...Frosty ... and well it was a pretty lame anatomy practice. So many fails

One of the issues that prevents this from succeeding is your lack of dark values. Everything looks very flat because we don't have a gradation of value across the curves of the body. I recommend looking at Force by Michael Mattesi to get a sense of how to show muscular tension even in a still pose. Just keep working on your anatomy and perspective; start of geometrically, and determine what really should be visible and what should be turned away from the viewer.
