Description
An old boat that's stuck in the marsh, I'll have to get closer some day and take more pictures, it's so beautiful.. but sad. I took this photo this morning on a drive. It's lovely.4.16.2010

shame about the road but i guess one can't get it all; we just have to appreciate what we have.

This is gorgeous. I'd love LOVE to go here.
The only thing that I'd suggest, is straightening out the horizon line. (can easily be done in photoshop with the ruler tool...if you have photoshop that is )

it is still there. It's not to far down the road from where I live.. about 6 or 7 miles away I think. It's been there for years.. it's in a marsh like area.. so if you ever try to get to it, you sink. lol.

I'm going to have to check it out. Maybe the marsh will be frozen next winter so I can explore the boat

I made it out to the sunken house by Girdwood one winter. Sat in the car too...boy was the insides all rusted out. Was a fun walk

Nice ! Took me a while to find it on the map. Kept looking at your photo and trying to figure out where on that road it may be

It is just past Girdwood near the turn off for Whittier. You can see the sunken house and car next to it on the right side of the road. Unless it is frozen, there is quite a bit of water between you and the house

Take more than a camera dear, you have the talents all bottled up inside of you. This shot is a beaut! Just look at the faded mountains off in the distance and the reflection of the sky, you framed it beautifully by having the shadows of the scapes on both sides.. Bravo!
