thanks for taking your time to do this amazing tutorial, it certainly helps! I have been having trouble with hair lately, since they look like... added kiddy blocks instead of real hair, haha. xD
though I have a question relevant to hairstyles; do you come up with hairstyles for guys? I can certainly come up with hairstyles for girls(since their hair can be styled) but guys' hairstyles... are just all the same. xD

I know that feeling too, so what you can try is how you divide your hair.
Guys mostly have short hair; So even if they have the same haircut, they can style their hair in countless ways!
This is where you can really differentiate your male hairstyle with other common ones, how your hair is divided, what is the main direction the strands tend to point, ...
Like Mokuro's hairstyle from Reborn, he has that typical bob-like hairstyle, but the way his hair is divided makes him stand out.
If you want a larger range of examples for short male hairstyles, you can always refer to other people's work - Maple story has a lot of interesting hairstyles for males!
