Welcome to my first species called "Salotls"!
I am aware that this species comes off basic but I am determined to have fun with the concept on its own.

What are Salotls?
Salotls are a aquatic species that are basically the combo of a Axolotl and Nudibranch. They live in various bodies of waters around the world but vary depending on which form they lean more towards.

What types are there for Salotls?
Salotls when they are young can come in two different forms that are completely random.
One is known as a Bun Trait, Which the Salotl takes more look towards the Nudibranch gene. When they are young, They will have a sea slug like bottom, strive upon eating poisonous living beings, and grow up within salt water habitats.

Another is known as a Lotl Trait, Which the Salotl takes more look towards the Axolotl gene. When they are young, They will have a Axolotl like mermaid tail, live a large majority of their lives consuming insects or Worms, and group up in Freshwater habitats.

Adult Salotls will vary depending on their traits and which gene they grew up living with, this inlcudes their tails and their diet.

Where do they breath?
Salotls do not breath air, that's a fact for sure. Their gills are located in two spots; Those black bunny ear like appendages and those pieces that come out of their cheek. They live a large majority of their lives underwater and will die if they are left out of the water for too long.

How big are Salotls and Can they be pets for other creatures?
Salotls are 2 ft and 0 Inches and Yes, You can have them as pets ! They are Sentient though, so prepare for their personalities and whatever they decide to say or do!
