Chapter 2

ZigZag

Blue stared back at the blue eye’s. Those cold eyes seemed to observe her. They didn’t seem to move, just staring at her.

Blue’s heart was pounding off her chest, her body beginning to move again and attempt to be free. She quickly turned away from the eyes, before she winced. If there was one thing she should have noticed, was that one wasn’t suppose to take their eyes off their enemy.

She snaps back to the eye’s in the shadow. They were gone.

Blue’s head held high when she heard distance shouting. The humans were coming.

This was it. This was the end.

Blue closed her eyes, already having to accept her fate.

Then she felt her weight shift, her tied up foot fell to the ground. Blue eyes shot open and whipped her up. There, before her, was a creamed colored male velociraptor, its hair on top of its head and tip of its tail in a red color. Red patterns on their blue eyes.

On its mouth was the rope, having been cut by its teeth.

The male velociraptor spit the rope out, having to click it tongue a few times before gagging.

“Aww! Gross!! They put grease in this rope! Gagh!! Disgusting!! *gags* They were planning to put me on FIRE!!”

Blue stood up quickly, hearing the human shouts coming even closer. She eyed at the creamed Velociraptor, the male velociraptor going. the same after gagging.

“Well!?!! START RUNNING!!”

That caused her feet to immediately move. She started to run, fast as she could. Gunshots could be heard from behind her, driving. her even faster. She could feel the adrenaline in her blood, driving her to run faster.

She felt a push in her side, making her almost trip.

“ZIGZAG!”

Blue whipped her head to the left, looking at the creamed velociraptor, who was running crazy.

“WHAT?!”

“I SAID ZIGZAG!! ITS MAKES IT EASIER TO DODGE THE BULLETS!!”

A whooshing sound flew close to her ear, making her gasp. The creamed velociraptor, still continuing to do his “ZigZag”, pushed her side again, encouraging her to do the same thing he was doing.

Blue began to do the same moves, she followed his steps, making Z’s as they ran. Bullets flew, and they dodge every one of them.

Blue was beginning to get tired, as the adrenaline began to fade. She began to feel pain of her legs.

Then the creamed colored velociraptor pushed her very sharply, into a pit hidden by a fallen tree trunk. The male curled up to her, making sure she was well hidden deep in the pit.

They heard the footsteps of the humans.

“Sh*t! We lost him!! And that other velociraptor!”

“We better leave. There might be more velociraptors in this area. We’re leaving now.”

“But the white velociraptor! He-”

“We have to go man. Gary is right, we’ll be raptor lunch if we don’t hurry.”

The footsteps soon left, growing faint by the distance.

The male head popped out of the pit, cautiously looking around. Before he pulled his head back in. He pressed himself close to Blue, before whispering in her ear.

“Coast is clear sister. We are ready leave. Copy that?”
Blue looked strangely at the male velociraptor. She nodded slowly, before giving a little push to the male.
The male climbed out the pit, Blue following behind.

The male sniffed the air before looking at Blue with a wide smile.

“Well sister this is the part where I say- AAAAAHHHHH!!!”

Blue pounced at the male velociraptor, sending both of them into ground.

“HEY HEY HEY! WAIT WHAT'S GOIN-”

“Who are you?! What are doing in my Alpha’s territory?!!”

“FEMALE I JUST SAVED YOUR LIFE AND THIS IS THE THANK YOU I GET!?!!!”

“DON’T MAKE ME TEAR YOUR THROAT APART!! WHO ARE YOU WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY TERRITORY!!”

“AM I IN YOUR TERRITORY?!!!”

Blue eyes snapped in realization. Were they still in her Alpha’s territory?

Blue got off the male, who began to (or tried) slithered away.

She didn’t know where she was. To be honest, she was probably miles away from the waterfall.
Blue gulped. Kilo wasn’t going to be happy.

She looked back at the male velociraptor, who was grooming himself.

“W-who are you??”

The male paused his grooming, his tongue still hanging in the air. He pulled it back in and looking at the female.

“Thats a good question. Who am I?”

Blue looked confused, before rolling her eyes.

“What’s your name?”

The male puffed his chest.

“Well sister I’ve been called many things. Worst if I say so. Like for example; piece of sh*t.”

Blue’s widen. She never expect to hear that from a velociraptor.

“Or mistake. Crap. Number 0035. F*cker. But there’s been this one name this one chef called me that just seems to fit me.”

The male velociraptor held his head high.

“The names Ramsey, sister.”

“Ramsey?” Blue repeated.

“From what I heard, I means Wild!! But eh, it also means garlic.”

Ramsey stopped talking, looking at Blue. Before he spoke up. “So?”

This startled Blue. “So what?”

“Soooooo, what's you’re name?”

Blue continued to look at Ramsey before saying her name.

“The name’s Blue.”

Ramsey nodded before turning around, walking away. This caught Blue attention.

“H-hey!! Where are you going?!”

“Eh, anywhere, nowhere. Why?” Ramsey turned around.

Blue began to fidget before asking.

“It's just, I don’t know where I am. I don’t know where to go…”

Ramsey looked at her before shrugging. “Not my problem. How am I supposed to know where you came from??”

Blue shrugged. “I don’t know! I’m lost! I was suppose to take small stroll but instead I bumped into you and ran marathon!”

Ramsey scoffed. “Oh okay! I suppose I’m the reason that you got yourself into a trap! Sorry Sister, this isn't my problem. It's yours. I got 99 problems and you’re not one of them.”

Blue began to fume. “Well jeez! Give some directions to where I came from!”

Ramsey looked at her, his blue eyes seeming to began to glow.

“Alright.”

Ramsey walked up to her.

“Go forward from where you are. When you hit a weird looking rock, go full circle. Try to find a good spot to climb. On the top of the rock, you’ll get a good view. Hopefully you’ll find what you’re looking for. Now bye bye!”

Ramsey turned around again, walking away.

Blue was quiet. He sounded so serious. Was he really helping her?

Blue watched Ramsey starting to grow small.

She turned around and began to move forward.

She should have known this was joke.

On her fifth step, she suddenly was falling. She gasped before a good screamed escaped her mouth.

She fell down a hole.

Her screams fell down and down, echoing down.

Suddenly, on opening hole, Ramsey appeared.

Ramsey looked down before snickering.

“One could say, ‘she fell for it!’” Ramsey let out a cackle.

Ramsey recovered before preparing to jump down.

“Now don’t leave me up here sister! I’m coming down!!”

Ramsey jumped down, releasing a Goofy “yahoo!!”
