I'm not crying anymore.
Less of a choice more of a fact,
As I grow more thirsty,
But decide not to drink.

The pain finally means something.
As I trace my scars with a slight smile,
Because I know what I should do now
It finally all makes sense..

As I see my friends,
The friends I abandoned and hurt, I feel myself wince,
But they're smiling.. And I'm hugged,
And the world seems coloured again.

We go shopping, not to shop,
But to laugh. For me to laugh truly,
By the lake, for the first time after the storm.
Fragile, but with plasters on my heart.

All that's left are my mistakes,
The hurt I've caused and the love I've left.
And I realize that you're happy now,
So surely I should be too..
